The medical camp was conducted on 13th of August 2026 at Holistic Care Center, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences to mark the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Health-Care Sciences, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. This medical camp is coordinatored by Holistic Care Center and Department of Primary Health Care with the support of University of Jaffna Overseas Alumni, Australia and the Regional Director of Health Servises, Batticaloa. Altogether 85 individuals including members of underserved communities were benifited through free medical consultations, health screenings including antropomatric measures, fasting blood sugar and vision check, medicines, and health education programme. These activities were lead by the 17th batch MBBS and 15th batch BScHons(Nursing) students, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences, Eastern University, Sri Lanka as part of their teaching and learning activities.
