Individual Research Consultation Service (IRCS)

The Health-Care Sciences continuously provide Research Support Service. As an extension of the Research Support Service, the Health-Care Sciences Library provide another service called ‘Individual Research Consultation.’ This service mainly targets the undergraduate researchers of the faculty. During their research project, the undergraduate can meet the library professionals as individuals or groups to get research-related advice.

 

The consultation will be a scholarly discussion and assistance on the following areas.

 

  • Refining research question and objectives.
  • Searching and identifying relevant literatures (especially research papers)
  • Analyzing related literatures and writing literature reviews.
  • Citation techniques
  • Use of reference management systems.
  • Analysing and interpreting data.

 

The users requested to fix an appointment with Senior Assistant Librarians before the consultation.
