Dr Shanmugaraj Harikrishanth

Obtained primary and secondary education at St Michaels College Batticaloa and graduated from Faculty of Health care sciences in 2013. Completed internship in Medicine and surgery at Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya and worked as a medical officer in Anesthesiology and ICU at Teaching Hospital Batticaloa. Gained entrance into the MD Surgery postgraduate study program in 20017, and worked as a Registrar in Surgery at Teaching Hospital Peradeniya, National Hospital Kandy, Colombo south Teaching Hospital, Maharagama Apeksha Hospital, Welisara Hospital, Teaching Hospital Kurunegala, District General Hospital Polonnaruwa, and Teaching Hopsital Batticaloa. Got thru in MD Surgery Part 2 examination in February 2021. Currently working as Senior Registrar in General surgery in Teaching Hospital Batticaloa. Joined the Faculty of Health care sciences, EUSL as lecturer (Probationary) in Surgery in 2020.
