Biography
Gained primary and secondary education at St. Cecilia's Girls' College, Batticaloa. Graduated with MBBS degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 2006 with a first class. Completed internship training at Kasturba Teaching Hospital, Manipal, India. Thereafter experienced clinical learning in India, Sri Lanka, Canada and the United States of America. Successfully completed the United States Medical Licensure Examinations. Followed a course on Neuroplasticity at the University of Toronto, Canada. Gained various health related work experiences in Canada. Joined the Faculty of Health-Care Sciences, Eastern University Sri Lanka as a lecturer in the Department of Medical Education & Research in 2018.
