Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC), Faculty of Health-Care Sciences, EUSL

 

  1. The FQAC of the Faculty of Health-Care Sciences is responsible for developing guidelines for quality assurance activities within the faculty and overseeing their implementation, focusing on the following aspects.
  2. The FQAC shall liaise regularly and closely with the Dean, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences, the Director/CQA to ensure the effective implementation of quality assurance practices.
  3. The FQAC shall assist in administering student surveys and feedback, organizing stakeholder meeting proceedings, and conducting other relevant surveys to enhance the quality of education and services.
  4. The FQAC shall coordinate and guide all quality assurance (QA) related activities within the faculty and report monthly to the Faculty Board.
  5. The FQAC shall facilitate the identification and sharing of good practices among academic departments within the faculty to promote continuous improvement.
  6. The FQAC shall coordinate and conduct faculty-level awareness programs on QA for staff members, with the support of the CQA.
  7. The FQAC shall assist the Dean, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences and the Director/CQA in incorporating QA aspects into the Faculty Corporate Plan.
  8. The FQAC shall assist the Director/ CQA in the preparation of QA-related guidelines and manuals and manuals tailored for the Faculty of Health-Care Sciences.
  9. The FQAC shall assist the Dean, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences and the Director/CQA in implementing QA reviews, audits, and follow-up actions to address any identified gaps.
  10. The FQAC shall coordinate the preparation of the Faculty's Self-Evaluation Report and Programme Review Reports in alignment with institutional QA frameworks.
  11. The FQAC shall coordinate the preparation of the Annual Action Plan for the Faculty QA cell and a Strategic Plan for QA activities for the faculty.
  12. The FQAC shall ensure that necessary academic regulations and by-laws are in place within the faculty and recommend remedial actions where gaps are identified.
  13. The FQAC shall maintain a repository of evidence at the faculty level to support Institutional Reviews (IRs) and Programme Reviews (PRs) effectively.
