Genoosha Namassevayam

Genoosha Namassevayam is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing in the Supplementary Health Sciences Department, Faculty of Healthcare Sciences, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. She joined the department as a Lecturer (Probationary) in 2014. She graduated from the University of Jaffna in 2013 with a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Nursing and earned a Medical Degree in Nursing Specialty at Zhengzhou University, Henan, Republic of China in 2020. She worked as a Temporary Demonstrator at the Allied Health Sciences Unit, University of Jaffna. Her research interests include Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Palliative Care, and Clinical Nursing
