Workshop to Improve Curriculum with More Clinical Teaching and Assessment

The workshop was held on 11th May, 2016 to improve the curriculum and the outcome of the academic staff. Prof. Mahesh Nirmalan(Director of clinical placements of Manchester Medical College, University of Manchester, United Kingdom) was the resource person for the workshop. The workshop was conducted in two different topics; “Impediments to professional and personnel development” and “Clinical placements in an integrated curriculum” for the Consultants of Teaching Hospital Batticaloa (THB), academic staffs of FHCS and Final year MBBS students. And also a guest lecture was given by him to the 3rd and 4th year MBBS & BSc Nursing students on “professional and personnel development” at auditorium of FHCS. All academic staff of Faculty of Health-Care Sciences and Consultants of THB gathered with Prof. Mahesh Nirmalan in VC bungalow to conduct the Discussion on “Improve the clinical teaching and assessment in FHCS”.
